Natural Skin Care Tips
The first step to natural skin care is to prevent it from being damaged by avoiding exposure to external factors like sun, wind & pollutants which may harm your skin. Common symptoms include dry and itchy skin, wrinkles, sagging, color changes, and age spots. Fortunately there are steps that we can take to keep our skin looking and feeling its best.

Exercise, rest, and good nutrition are key to glowing & healthy skin. A balanced diet isn’t just good for your overall health, it also makes our skin receive all of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that it needs to maintain and repair quickly. Drinking a lot of water is another easier way to keep your skin look bright & healthy. Water helps to hydrate the skin and all the waste of our body move out of the system through it. Give up drinking tap water & if possible you can mix a teaspoon or capful of organic apple cider vinegar with your water.

The most important skin care formula is to protect it from the damaging effect of ultraviolet rays which can lead to wrinkles, premature aging, age spots, and even cancer. Don’t let your skin get exposed to the sun’s rays. Use a natural sunscreen, or a moisturizer that contains sunscreen (at least SPF 15) every day. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you should stop venturing out fully as your skin needs some sunlight each day. Aim for 10-15 minutes of direct exposure around sunrise or sunset.

Dry skin is very common, especially with growing age. Older skin fails to produce more sweat and oil glands become weak as compared to younger skin. Dry skin may also be caused by frequent baths, certain cosmetics or medications. But whatever the cause, there are ways to revive your dull looking skin. For that you have to avoid harsh soaps & start using mild soap without any parabens, perfumes or dyes contained in them. Then continue moisturizing your skin especially your face & hand throughout the day with a good quality moisturizer.
